Older family pictures

Henrik Heilborns father in law.
Daniels grandfather (first name unknown) surname Benjamin.

This lady is probably Jeanettes mother, Mrs Benjamin, Daniels grandmother. The bonnet she is wearing was very fashionable in 1810. The frames on both pictures are the same.


The photo was taken in Paris by the famous French photographer André-Adolphe-Eugène Disdéri.

Two of Daniels and Helgas children, Gustaf and Emmy, died at an early age.





Emilie’s father, a renowned member of parliament and liberal politician.
Parents: Major Count Carl Emil Cronhielm and Baroness Hedvig Ulrika Boije of Gennäs. Married in 1828 to Sofia Vilhelmina Waldau.

Emilie’s mother, born Waldau (1803-1873).
Otto made a heroic contribution during the 1834 cholera epidemic when he drove the hearse with the corpses. He himself
contracted cholera and died the same year. His many friends collected money for the destitute family which he left behind
and they also had a memorial stone erected on his gravesite in the Galärvarvet cemetery in Stockholm.

Count Otto August Cronhielm’s mother. Emilie’s grandmother.
Born in 1761 at Sjötorps Kungsgård in Östergötland. Died in 1843 in Linköping.

Otto’s aunt, sister to Carl Emil Cronhielm af Hakunge
